Cult has officially stopped raiding the 25man content. I  did not feel the old magic from TBC times had survived. We were forced to constantly recruit in order to raid and for that reason we constantly had a group of people who didn’t have much experience in raiding together.  Some very excellent players, some not so excellent. General raid perfomance started to fall.

Some players felt it was not enough and left the the guild. Can’t blame them. Wiping 4 days at Mimiron is something PUGS would do. Spending 2 days at Yogg-Saron P1 is somewhat shameful.

For me personally the guild had not been performing how wished it to perform.  We had nice times, but the feeling of HC raiding started  to lean towards casual gaming and some members seemed to have no problem with this. I did.
Not to blame them in anyway, but that is not how I pictured Cult to proceed. I tried my best to bring up the motivation and to push people to perform better. Some took this as accusations, some didn’t care at all and  some felt the same and left to join other guilds.

Cult still raids the 10-mans(atleast for now) and you can still  catch people with <Cult>

The Dragon went down nicely and the current content is now cleared. The only missing piece being Sartharion with his drakes still up. Incoming soon!

Chromaggus could no longer serve as the kind of realm we wanted, so we  decided to move to a high-pop realm. Al’Akir.

Server Firsts until the end. Last boss down. A very close fight, but a fun encounter too.

Big thanks to Artica for providing some well needed competition.

The Council gave us only a moments pause in the race to the big boss himself. Mastering the pull and finding the sweet spots for tanks proved to be the key.
